These insulated ice baths are designed for cold-water therapy in gymnasiums, health spas and home use. The split-level ice-bath enables sitting, reclining and plunging. We make our ice baths from robust fibreglass with insulated sides and lid. A set of steps is included.
The baths have:
- a GRP subframe that enables them to be made mobile (we can supply them with or without heavy-duty braked castors),
- insulated to keep the cold in,
- external steps and a one-piece lid,
- option of handrail.
A range of drainage options are available. The default is a standard plugged bath waste with a removable external fitting to enable crush-proof flexi-pipe to be fitted so you can empty the pool to an drain at a distance from the bath.
We make the baths, so we can modify them to accept fittings from external refrigeration or filtration units; there is no charge for this modification. There is also space beneath the bath to accommodate a compact unit or other equipment.
The internal dimensions are 900mm wide, 1640mm long and between 500mm and 800mm deep but you can have a pool made to your preferred dimensions.
The interior can be the colour of your choice, and there is a choice of textured finishes for grip and comfort. The outside of the ice bath can be left bare, clad in wood, or in fibreglass. Contact David for more details
